Identifying the MGA Coupe

The 1500, 1600, MKII, Twin Cam and the 1600 MKII De Luxe.

The three major MGA models may be readily identified by their tail-lamp and grille configurations
as well as their engine displacement badge.

The MGA Coupes were a variation of the roadster and were not differentiated by the factory numbering system as to body style, and available in all versions.

The Coupes had black seats with contrast pipings of white, red, green and blue, in general to match or compliment body colour, and were of a special design.
The dashboard and top was covered in vinyl.
Type badges were mounted, as for the roadsters, on the shroud and boot lid.
